Obituary of Mary Anna Molka
Mary Anna Molka passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025, with her family by her side. She was 83 years old.
Born in Newark, NJ, to parents Emil and Marie (Juliano) Ciccone, Mary Anna lived in Monroe Township for 39 years before settling in Bridgewater 8 years ago. She was a woman of faith and was a parishioner at St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church in Peapack for many years.
Mary Anna worked for the Corpus Christi School in South River as the school secretary for 29 years. She loved being a wife and mother, finding immense joy in raising her four children. She was an avid shopper and enjoyed volunteering her time with her church and school community.
Mary Anna is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, John Molka Jr., son John W. Molka III & wife Etsuko, daughters Dr. Judith Ann Molka-Danielson, Cheryl Molka Lambert & fiancé Jason Spennato, and Christine Molka Carolan & husband Richard, grandchildren Gry, Alexander, Eirik, Evan, Ethan, Brett, Alana, and Victoria, and great grandchild Vetle. She is predeceased by her sister Emily O’Shea.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29, from 1-5 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home, 176 Main Street, Peapack. A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, June 30, at 11 AM at St. Brigid Church, 129 Main Street, Peapack, immediately followed by entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Basking Ridge. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary Anna’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
