Obituary of Stephen R. Kopin

Stephen R. Kopin passed away peacefully on July 24, 2011 at the Lehigh Valley Hospice in Allentown, PA. He was 65. Born in Rahway, NJ, he was raised in Carteret and then lived in Piscataway for 30 years before moving to Easton 7 years ago. Stephen served in the NJ National Guard from 1965 to 1971. . He was a machine operator for Trend Machine Inc. in Rahway for the last 15 years before he retired. His family will remember him as a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed gardening, cooking, and fishing. His wife and daughter will miss his ability to fix just about everything and his friends could always count on him to be there for them. Survivors include his wife Nancy Breza Kopin of Easton, one daughter Carrie Cunnane and her husband Chris of Quakertown, PA, and one sister Gail Joseph of Somerset. He is also survived by two nephews and his grandchildren Lucas and Rebecca Cunnane. Visitation will be held on Thursday July 28 th from 10 am -12 noon at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham, NJ.
