Obituary of Leigh O'Grady Molitor

Leigh O’Grady Molitor, 64, of Chester, NJ, formerly of Montclair and Glen Ridge, NJ passed away peacefully at home on September 19, 2023.
 

Born in Montclair, NJ to James Francis O’Grady and Patricia Chur O’Grady, she graduated from Montclair High School in 1977 and attended University of Hartford.  

Leigh was a very successful and well-respected interior design advisor in her community for 20+ years.  She retired in 2019 after 15 years at Cu-Tech, LLC (Synteract), a Contract Research Organization specializing in management of dermatology clinical trials for numerous pharmaceutical companies, most capably serving as the Senior Manager and mentor of a team of administrative associates.

In her free time, Leigh loved her dogs and worked along-side her husband Jerry Molitor in championing several show dogs over the last 15 years.

In addition to her parents, Leigh was predeceased by her brothers Michael T., Jeffrey P., and James F., Jr. O’Grady, and sister, Camille O’Grady.  

Surviving are her loving husband Jerome Molitor, MD and his children, Kristine Loeffelbein (grandchildren Matthew and Katie), Jerome Molitor, Jr. (wife Darcy and grandchildren Preston, Parker, Peyton, and Paige), and Jennifer Skoff (husband Christian and grandchildren Christian, Jr. and Charlotte).

Also surviving are her daughter, Whitney Francis Berra and her father Dale Berra.  

In addition, surviving are her sisters Kathleen O. Ashenfelter (husband James and their children Lynne, Jay and Brad, and grandchildren) and Michelle O’Grady, and her brother Fr. Patrick Brian O’Grady (wife Christina and their son, Christopher, and grandchildren).

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 26th 2023 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bailey Funeral Home - Mendham (8 Hilltop Rd, Mendham Borough, NJ 07945). A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, September 26th 2023 at 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph Church (8 W Main St, Mendham Township, NJ 07945).  A luncheon will follow at Café Azzurro, Peapack and Gladstone, NJ.
