Obituary of Dorothy Healy

Dorothy M. Healy (McCabe) passed away on Dec. 24, 2011 at Sunrise of Madison. She was 87. Born in Brooklyn she and her husband Michael realized their live long dream in 1984 - retirement and moving to their vaction home on the shores Budd Lake in 1984. Mrs. Healy had a long and sucessful carear at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, City University of New York and retired as the Director of Human Reasorces reporting directly to the President. She also worked at the Visiting Nurse Association of Brooklyn. Her family will remember her as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who always put all her family members before herself. She was predeceased by her husband Michael and her daughter Maureen. Survivors include her son Michael J. Healy and his wife Linda of Chester, one sister Dolores D'Arcy of Staten Island and grandchildren Donald Scott Nesensohn and Tracy Lee McGill of Staten Island, Erik Nesensohn of NY, NY, Michael Sean Healy of Redwood Shores, CA, and Daniel P. Healy of Sparta. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 176 Main St., Peapack. Funeral Mass Thursday 10 am at St. Brigid Church Peapack. Interment Pequest Union Cemetery. For those desiring donations to the Alzheimer's Assoc, in her memory, would be appreciated.
