I worked with Alicia in Elizabeth. I will never forget the day that she and I were sent to Cleveland middle school and I was assigned a classroom that I was not supposed to ever go to again. I had told the principal of this and the principal still was sending me there. Alicia stepped up and said that she would take the class instead or the two of us could go there together because there wasn’t a place for her that day. The principal said no. Alicia said, well then I guess we are both using a sick day. We both left the school and went out to breakfast together. She was a woman that would have your back and give the shirt off of her back if she had to. She was a great woman. I loved going to her house for parties whether it was down the shore or at her home with Michael. It was always a great time. She will never be forgotten. She was a very special woman and holds a dear place in my heart.
