I am so sorry to hear about Lisa's passing. She was such a beautiful, giving soul. Her smile and vibrant eyes were unforgettable. She was always kind to everyone. I had attended the Huntington School of Fine Arts from ages 8-17 (CSH Graduating Class of 2007). Lisa and Joe believed in me as a junior artist, and were responsible for nurturing my skills and preparing me for a career in the Arts. Because of Lisa's belief in me, I was able to attend MassArt and graduate with Honors. Now I am an Art Educator myself, and have the privilege of passing on what was taught to me by Lisa and Joe, to students in both the US and now in South Korea. Those fundamental lessons from my youth will never leave me. I know that Lisa's legacy lives on in so many other HFA alum, as well as her current students. May her memory be eternal. On behalf of the entire Saltz family, we send our sincerest condolences. I met Lisa in January of 2020 after the death of my niece Allison who was a student at HFA throughout high school. Lisa set up a scholarship in Allison's name to help budding artists create college portfolios. Lisa kept Allison's memory alive by this scholarship as well as continuing to hang Allison's art at HFA to this day. She adored Allison and was such a comfort to me in the years since Allison's passing. She never hesitated to let me know how loved and adored Allison was at HFA. I so appreciated her warmth and caring at the most difficult time for our family. I know this loss impacts not only Lisa's family, but the hundreds of students she has mentored and taught over her time at HFA. We are heartbroken over Lisa's passing. May her memory be a blessing to all those who knew her.

I had the privilege of knowing Lisa. She would come to my Studio Body Naturals and receive skin treatments,Spiritual Direction, wellness and Love. She is such a loving person and I loved when she would come up to receive a service. She loved her Dog Moses and loved Mac. She was an incredible artist and loved her work. She will be missed by all. May God bring you safely home Lisa.
