Jim West posted a condolence
Fran, Kathy, Chris, Pru, Lucy and family . . Many warm thoughts and prayers to you all. I have such great memories of Bill - his wit, humor and warmth that generated true character as a person and friend. Recalling a visit with him in the late 90's where we stayed up until the wee hours talking about Kent, Kemper, families and what have you. He had a provocative, caring way that probed beliefs and intentions - a true philosopher of life! I will miss his earthly presence and continually recall him as a man who left an indelible mark with his foot falls. Blessings for his life and to all of you. Jim

Dear Lucy and family-I saw you Dad's obituary in the paper this week, and just want you to know how sorry I am to see his passing. I don't remember him as a kid, but, he sounded like a real nice person. I'm sure he passed away being proud of you. Not only of your accomplisments in life, but, knowing he alway had, and always will have, a nice daughter. Sincerly, Chris Sakos

To: Pru (NHRHS class of '69) and your entire family. I saw your Dad's passing, and with heart felt sorrow, I just wanted to let you know that I remember him only from Tamarack Farm Lane, and playing basketball against the barn wall, and him passing on one of his tractors and smiling and waving, like he really knew who I was. Maybe, he did know who I was, and was keeping an eagle eye on me. Seems like he circled the barn quite a few times, if I remember correctly. My father and mother bought part of the farm on Fairmount Road, and lived there until they retired to Florida in 1982. Mom passed in 1985, but Dad is still going strong at 91. I have 2 sons, 1 daughter, 1 grandson, and one granddaughter, so far. Brenda is still teaching @ Woodglen School, and probably will for a few more years. Now that I have gone on and on, drop me a line or so, and catch me up. AJ
