Obituary of Audrey H. Thompson

Audrey Hyde Thompson of Chester, NJ and Cotuit, MA, passed away on Friday, November 30. She was 88. One of the seven children of Elmer Hyde and Jessie Barber Hyde, Audrey was raised in Belleville and Sea Girt, and graduated Belleville High School and Parsons School of Design in New York. She worked in the fashion industry, and later at her family's surety bond company. She was thelovingwife of the late Hon. Paul B. Thompson, a judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey. Audrey was the president of the Mountainside Hospital Volunteer Association. She enjoyed travel and interior design. She is survived by her son Paul B. Thompson, beloved granddaughter Meredith Thompson, sisters Margo Plenge and Beth Whittemore, and many nieces and nephews.
