Obituary of Thomas W. Pote, Sr.

Thomas W. Pote, Sr. passed away on May 26, 2013 at Morristown Medical Center. He was 84. Born in North Plainfield he lived in Gladstone for the last 60 years. He was a mechanical engineer for RCA in Somerville for many years. He also served as Vice President at Flexco Microwave Inc. in Port Murray until the time of his death. He served in the New Jersey National Guard. His family will remember him as a loving husband, father brother and grandfather. He was predeceased by his wife of 54 years Helen E. Pote in 2007. Survivors include one son Thomas W. Pote, Jr.; one daughter Karen Miglin of Newton; two brothers Bill Pote of Glen Gardner and Richard Pote of Toms River, and one sister Marian Pote of Bridgewater. He is also survived by his grandchildren Jesse and Ryan Pote and his great grandchildren Trevor, Maxwell and Sadie Pote. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 176 Main St., Peapack. Funeral Mass Friday 10:30 am at St. Brigid Church, Peapack. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge.
