Dearest Ones,
I am so sorry for the loss of your mother, Louise. She and I would talk every couple of months with the assistance of a nurse at Holly Manor. I would update her on my father, William Eugene Merle, and the family. She came out to California several times and I delighted in her visits. Once we took her to visit Aunt Helma in Southern California (or maybe it was Aunt Pat). She felt the visit didn't go well and she was very disappointed.
I would love to connect with her daughters (Chris, Carol, or Linda) but I don't have any contact information. Would one of you be so kind to contact me? I'm in California at 916.971.3878 or Vicki.volek@yahoo.com.
My father, Bill, didn't talk much about his childhood and I would love to know more. If one or all of you will contact me, I would really appreciate it. My father, Bill Merle, died a year ago 12/9/2013 on his 95th birthday. He was a sweetheart and we were very close. Thanking you in advance, Vicki Lou Merle Volek
